Lions International

Dear Club Officers,

Lion and Leo clubs around the world improve health and well-being, strengthen communities and support those in need through humanitarian service.

Service also helps energize clubs and their members. Help your members be inspired by:

  • Discovering new opportunities for service and ways to make an impact

  • Solving a problem, in your neighborhood or across the world

  • Inviting non-members to join you in service and add their energy

  • Advocate for a cause, educating the public and elected officials

  • Form partnerships with other groups as community leaders in service

  • Raise funds in a visible way, bringing the community together

  • Celebrate your service and share your success with the world

To help you get started, our Service Toolkit contains links to resources like Quick Start Service Ideas, the Club and Community Needs Assessment, Developing Local Partnerships and Fundraising Guide, as well as stories of service for more inspiration.

Another inspiring idea is to sponsor a Peace Poster Contest in your community. The deadline to order a kit is October 1, so order your kit today. To learn more about the Peace Poster Contest, visit the website and see how you can involve your community.

We hope these tools will help your club serve your community and energize your members.

For additional information or questions regarding service, contact our Service Division at serviceactivities@lionsclubs.org.

Sincerely,

Your District & Club Administration Team
