FVDG/DGE Learning Starts This Month

Training begins September 13, 2024, with the launch of the 2024-2025 FVDG/DGE Learning Path in the Lions Learning Center (LLC). First vice district governors (FVDGs) are assigned online courses designed to help prepare them to lead their districts. Explore the FVDG/DGE Program Overview resource to see the available courses. Support the Success of Your District GLT

Multiple district Global Leadership Team (GLT) coordinators, you share a responsibility in documenting leadership, membership and service trainings. Log into the Lion Portal to access Learn and confirm district GLT coordinators have reported their zone chairperson and club officer trainings. Your support can help your districts achieve their leadership development goals! LOG IN

Ensure District Leadership Development Goal Success

District Global Leadership Team (GLT) coordinators, report completed club officer and zone chairperson trainings in Learn, which you can access in the Lion Portal. Be sure to confirm your district’s leadership development targets and report completed trainings by September 30, 2024, to set your district up for success in achieving your 2024-2025 leadership development goal. District Officer Training Grant Deadline Approaching

The Leadership Development Multiple District/District Grant Program provides funds to cover some expenses related to development training within your multiple district (for first and second vice district governors) and your district (for zone chairpersons). Applications are due September 30, 2024. APPLY NOW

Apply for a Leadership Development Institute Grant

Develop leadership skills within your area by hosting an Emerging Lions Leadership Institute (ELLI) or Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI). Multiple and single districts (not part of a multiple district), apply now for your Leadership Development Institute Grant to support your ELLI or RLLI. Applications are due October 15, 2024.
