Dear Club Vice President,

As a club president, you will have an opportunity to change the world and the time to start planning your term is now.

Here are some things to consider:

Learn all you can. Visit Learn to access exciting and interesting courses designed to help you plan your year. To access the courses, go to the Member Portal and familiarize yourself with the club officer courses, such as

  • Club Officer Training: This module delivers an introductory overview of club officer roles and responsibilities and club structure.

  • Club President Responsibilities: This module provides basic information and resources necessary to prepare for the club president position.

  • Other Courses: From goal setting and meeting management to conflict resolution, you will find helpful resources to help you as a club leader and in your everyday life.

Visit the Managing a Club webpage and Club President/Vice President webpage and review the tools and resources available to club officers. Make sure to join the Improving Club Quality Facebook page and join the discussion.

Set goals. One place to start is the Club Excellence Award. Use the award as a template for planning success in membership, marketing, leadership development and, of course, service. The webpage offers tools to help you achieve success in each area.

Contact us. If you have any questions, please contact us by phone at (630) 468-7084 or by email at
