    DISTRICT NEWS

Share Annual Training Plans in Learn

Council chairpersons and district governors, encourage your GLT coordinators to share the 2022-2023 multiple district or district local training plan in Learn, using their Lion Account credentials. Posted local training plans provide Lion and Leo members visibility to available courses. LOG IN

LCIP Recertification Update

The 241 Lions Certified Instructors (LCIP) whose certification became eligible for renewal as of July 1, 2022, will receive notification this month that they need to complete two assigned courses within the Lions Learning Center (LLC) by June 30, 2023. VIEW MATERIALS

Apply for a Leadership Development Institute Grant

2022-2023 grants are available to assist multiple districts, single districts (not part of a multiple district) and undistricted provisional districts/regions/zones in hosting an Emerging Lions Leadership Institute (ELLI) or Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI) in their area. APPLY NOW

Grants Available for District Officer Training

2022-2023 grants are available to support expenses related to hosting development training in your multiple district (for first and second vice district governors) or district (for zone chairpersons). APPLY NOW

2022-2023 FVDG/DGE Training Plan Available

Prepare for the year of training by reviewing the FVDG/DGE Program Overview and Frequently Asked Questions documents available on the FVDG/DGE Training Program webpage. They provide an overview of the year and answer important questions. LEARN MORE

Multiple District FVDG Training Curriculum Available

Multiple District First Vice District Governor training curriculum was made available to MD GAT-GLT coordinators in July. Contact your coordinator for more information.

The Club Achievement Report, available in MyLCI using your Lion Account login credentials, provides a helpful overview of clubs when you make your visit. It showcases important information about membership, awards, officers and much more. LOG IN

Service Award Deadlines Approaching

August 15 is the deadline for club service chairpersons and Leo club presidents to electronically send one Kindness Matters Service Award nomination to the district global service team (GST) coordinator. Lions in Constitutional Area III who are qualified to apply for the LCIP in Recife, Brazil, must submit their applications by August 25, 2022. APPLY NOW

Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) Applications Due Soon

Lions in Constitutional Areas I, II and VII who are interested in attending the ALLI must submit their applications by August 18, 2022, for the ALLI in Los Angeles, California, USA, or by September 8, 2022, for the ALLI in Denpasar, Bali. APPLY NOW

Faculty Development Institute (FDI) Applications Due Soon

Lions in Constitutional Areas III and IV who are interested in attending the FDI must submit their applications by September 8, 2022, for the FDI in Santiago, Chile or by August 25, 2022, for the FDI in Porto, Portugal. APPLY NOW

Increase Your Club’s Membership

Lions clubs depend on recruiting new members. Log in to your Lion Account and take the Invite for Impact online course to learn how best to recruit and engage new members to strengthen your club. LOG IN

When a devastating tornado ripped through communities in midwestern and southern states in the U.S., Lions, together with LCIF, swiftly responded.
