LCIF Chairperson Dr. Jung-Yul Choi
From LCIF Chairperson Dr. Jung-Yul Choi
The generosity of Lions and Leos, through individual and club support, make it possible for LCIF to magnify our service around the world – especially in times of crisis. For those who have made individual donations to the foundation, I thank you. Is your club a Campaign 100 Model Club? If so, thank you for continuously supporting Lions efforts and collectively supporting those in need. Your donations to LCIF help make so much of our service possible, as the needs continue to increase around the world. As humanitarians, our organization continues to grieve for those impacted by the crisis in Ukraine and surrounding countries in Europe. In our first story below, you will see how Lions are responding to the crisis, empowered by LCIF funding made possible by your support. As Campaign 100 enters its final two months, and we strive to meet our US$300 million goal, we ask you to continue to commit your participation as we help build bridges across borders and our differences.

Invest in Our Future

When you support our foundation, somewhere in the world, someone is receiving the gift of your generosity in the form of something they desperately need.

International President Douglas Alexander and Council Chairperson Judge Kevin Bishop lay flowers and a sign at the Mayfield Courthouse to show Lions support.
Greater Kindness in Times of Great Need

After a December 2021 tornado outbreak in the US, LCIF grant funding, made possible by support from our generous donors, was awarded for Lions-led efforts to help victims. In January 2022, International President Douglas X. Alexander visited some of the hardest hit communities in Kentucky. "There is nothing like actually seeing the devastation that has hit this community," he said.
